Ingwe Pan is situated in a private concession in the centre of Mana Pools National Park. It has a large pan in front of the lodge that attracts all wildlife from far and wide. In the dry season the camp often has sightings of Lion, Leopard and Wild Dog from the comfort of your room. The camp truly comes to life at the end of the dry season as the animals congregate by its permanent water source. The camp offers a comfortable and wild experience with well sized luxury tents all with a view over the pan and a main dining area that offers intimate meals in an authentic main area. The camp is about 40 minutes from the Zambezi river but has the added advantage of its own private concession.

The camp usually insists that guests with children under the age of 12 need to hire a private vehicle for safaris. Children under 16 won't be allowed on walking safaris.

THE CAMP

The simple yet luxury camp has eight well decorated and spacious tents overlooking the expansive pan which often has hippos grunting throughout the day. The overall design is african and stylish, with an open-air feel, set in amongst the surrounding trees. Rooms are large with king size beds, a separate bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. The camps main area has an open-air bar, lounge and dining area all overlooking the wildlife rich pan.
