Simple yet wild

Mhara River Camp is a tented camp situated on the Chitake River. The camp is a small and intimate bush camp, allowing for visitors to experience raw nature. The Chitake Riverbed is known for a lot of lion and buffalo interactions. The camp is situated in a great area for taking a walk down the riverbed or through the riverine forests.

THE CAMP

 

​Mhara River Camp features six strategically placed tents, all overlooking the Chitake Riverbed. Each tent is simple in style with a private bathroom and shower. All tents are thoughtfully spaced out along under the shade cover of the local trees.

The main area has a relaxed atmosphere with a central  outdoor area to enjoy a drink whilst looking over the escarpment and animals that move below.
