WHAT IS A MOBILE SAFARI?

If you are looking for something authentic and adventurous in Mana Pools, a Mobile Safari is a great option and amazing value for groups of 2 - 8 people.

The name says it all! A Mobile Safari is a journey of discovery in a variety of wildlife habitats, staying a few nights in each area. When you move location, your camp moves along with you, allowing you to have the same guide, crew and set-up in a new and unexplored area.

The camp crew consists of an experienced safari guide, bush chef and a number of camp hands. Everything is moved in advance and made ready for your arrival. It's all the benefits of camping but in glamping style, in Africa's most remote locations.

Mobiles offer a closer connection to nature. It's about sitting around a camp fire, drinking an ice cold beverage, elephants wandering through camp, feeling the sand between your toes and tasting great food made under the African skies.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your guide will pick you up from the nearest airstrip (or chosen location), where you will begin your journey to your first designated campsite in a secluded area of bush with neither facilities nor fences and where wildlife is free to wander.

Upon arrival, your mobile camp will have already been set up with a lounge and dining area, private tent with a comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom with flushing toilet and a shower with hot water.

Your days consist of an early morning wake up call with a cup of coffee and breakfast before heading out on a 4x4 morning safari. Brunch is served back at camp, followed with an afternoon siesta before heading out for an afternoon game drive.

Upon return to camp, a three course meal is served under the stars around a camp fire, listening to the sounds Africa.
